Loki's Construction

We went to the Whitby factory three times: first to see the hull before the deck went on; then in May for sea-trials; and finally in June to bring her back to New Bedford, where she was berthed during the summer of '99.

In Whitby

Claudia and Amelia at Loki's stern after the hull has been lifted from the mold. This boat is a Monster!

The cockpit area.

In the foreground will be the head; in the background will be Amelia's bunk with a freezer. (We'll have to put a padlock on it to protect the Fudgicles!)

The bow area

The two forward cabins have queen size bunks.

The forward area has five watertight compartments.
